For CareTrust REIT’s new Dana Point headquarters, the challenge was to create a workplace that felt both contemporary and distinctive while supporting a rapidly growing team. Working closely with Symmetry 8 Studio, the project required furniture solutions that balanced focused work with collaboration, reflected CareTrust’s energetic culture, and complemented the designer’s vision of blending corporate functionality with hospitality-inspired experiences.

Studio Other partnered with Symmetry 8 Studio to co-design a range of custom furniture solutions, including 10 workstations, 13 private offices, a conference table, seating, ancillary pieces, monitor arms, and marker boards. The team developed zoned layouts that promoted employee well-being, collaboration, and focus, while incorporating multifunctional furniture tailored to the client’s specific needs. A carefully curated palette of high-pressure laminate, fabric, leather pulls, and metal casework was selected to reinforce the modern, contemporary aesthetic and align with the overall design intent.

The result is a cohesive workplace that supports both productivity and connection, helping CareTrust’s headquarters serve as a reflection of its culture and a destination for employees and clients alike. Through thoughtful co-design and customized furnishings, the space delivers a sophisticated, flexible environment designed to support continued growth.
