I began at Studio Other 20 years ago as an industrial designer. Today, as President working with a 25+ person team of makers and artists, I have seen the company grow tremendously. Our experience in the industry has given us insight into what authentic furniture customization embodies — it is free of ourselves, instead taking on the life of the new space it will exist in.  

More importantly, it is not a one-person job. Working with Studio Other is an immersive experience — we are the mind to guide you and the hands to bring life to your ideas. However, what brings our team the most fulfillment is having you be an active participant and partner in the creative process, because just as every immune system has a story to tell, so does your space. Your office environment reflects the traits and nuances that make your company unique – and we are here to help tell a design story that is true to who Adaptive is.
